i like the contrast that of jerry’s two avatars, one’s a shameless sexual deviant and the other …not so much.

he’s a little overdesigned but i can always scale back
macs aren’t as synonymous with cool and hip as they used to be, so while he’s definitely in HIPSTER TERRITORY, he’s also a huge dork. added glasses and braces, both of which he rocks. charles embraces his dorkiness now instead of trying to be 2cool4u. he’s a more genuine person now.
he’s an artist, working primarily with plants (living and dead), taxidermy and broken electronics. he probably has work in local museums and has gallery shows. i wanted there to be something to keep tycho and gabe jealous. he used to just be cooler than them, but I think becoming world famous webcartoonists sort of negates ‘being cool but holding down a shitty job in a mac store’. so now he’s doing rad stuff that they can’t or dont have time for. beat poetry too, maybe??
he drives tycho and gabe crazy but for completely different reasons now haha.
